The OC Health Care Agency’s Environmental Health Division Monday announced an ocean water closure from Sleepy Hollow Lane to Cleo Street in the city of Laguna Beach due to a raw sewage spill.

The spill of about 600 gallons was caused by a pump failure on a private property, according to the HCA, which said the affected ocean water area will remain closed to water-contact sports until the results of follow-up water quality monitoring meet acceptable standards.
