Southwest Airlines will begin year-round nonstop service from Palm Springs to San Jose Sunday.
The start of flights to San Jose will give Southwest service to eight airports from Palm Springs International Airport. The airline has year-round service to Denver, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Oakland and Sacramento and seasonal service to Dallas’ Love Field and Portland, Oregon.
Southwest began its service at PSP on Nov. 15, 2020, and is now among the top airlines using the airport.
“We’ve already doubled the number of daily departures and we’ve more than doubled the number of places with a nonstop link to the Coachella Valley,” said Adam Decaire, Southwest’s vice president of network planning.
