
With fire to the east and fire to the west, the Los Angeles area will see continued elevated fire weather danger this weekend.
A little atmospheric moisture will creep in from the Pacific Ocean Sunday, the National Weather Service said. humidity readings overnight will be between 10-20 percent Sunday morning, instead of the 5-10 percent Saturday.
But gusty onshore winds will continue, up to 30 mph in the Antelope Valley and 20 miles in the rest of the county.
To the east, the Blue Cut Fire at Cajon Pass was 68 percent contained at 37,020 acres at sunrise today. About 24 Los Angeles County firefighters and one helicopter were working there.
To the west, the Rey Fire north of Santa Barbara was not contained at all, and had burned 3,000 acres as of 5 p.m. Friday.
