Temperatures will tick up slightly over the weekend in Southern California before a rainstorm arrives on Monday, according to meteorologists.

Light offshore winds will contribute to a mild warming trend from Friday through Sunday, according to forecasts by the National Weather Service. Coasts and Valleys should get highs in the upper 60s to low 70s during this time, while temperatures in inland and mountain areas get into the 50s and 60s.

On Sunday evening, the first — and possibly wettest — of three storm systems will reach the central coast. Rainfall should have widespread impacts across Southern California by Monday, according to meteorologists.

The valleys and coasts could see between 1-2 inches of precipitation at the start of next week. Mountain areas could get twice that amount, according to forecasters.

Another storm arrives on Tuesday and may persist through Wednesday. A third system may hit Southern California on Thursday, but it*s unclear if it will deliver much moisture.

The snow level will start at around 6,000 feet on Monday. It will gradually fall to between 3,000 to 3,500 feet by Wednesday.
