Firefighters battled a four-alarm blaze in a Rubidoux pallet yard about three hours Sunday evening before stopping the spread of flames.
Flames and smoke were seen in video from a news helicopter over the fire first reported at 8:12 p.m. in the 2400 block of Rubidoux Boulevard. Vehicles and utility poles were also burning, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
At about 11:15, fire officials reported that the 10,000-square-foot pallet yard was destroyed along with “one structure, multiple vehicles and outbuildings.”
No injuries were reported.
Firefighters planned to remain on the scene overnight putting out hot spots, officials said.
