Firefighters Thursday were working to extinguish a house fire in Sylmar that was threatening two other homes.
The fire was reported about 12:45 p.m. in the single-story building in the 13700 block of West Oscar Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Two other buildings were possibly exposed to the flames, and additional firefighters were sent to the scene. According to the LAFD, there was “excessive storage” outside the home, and the flames inside extended into the attic and a garage to the rear of the structure.
There were no reports of any injuries.
