One person was killed in a three-vehicle collision in Tustin that injured others.

The collision was reported at the intersection of Nisson Road and Pasadena Avenue where a female driving a Kia Spectra struck two vehicles, according to Lt. Robert Wright of the Tustin Police Department.

The Kia Spectra was traveling west on Nisson Road Tuesday when the car struck a Dodge Ram that was stopped on the street because its driver was waiting for a parking spot, Wright said. That initial collision caused the Spectra to spin across the roadway and collide with a Kia Forte that was traveling east on Nisson Road.

The driver of the Spectra was seriously injured and taken to a hospital where she died from her injuries, Wright said.

“The other involved parties suffered non-life threatening injuries,” Wright said.

“At this time it does not appear as if alcohol or drugs were a factor in this collision. There have been no arrests or citations, and the cause of this collision is still under investigation.”
