The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County increased four-tenths of a cent Sunday to $4.672.
The average price is 2.1 cents less than one week ago, 30.9 cents more than one month ago, and 6.9 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.701 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price dropped for the eighth time in nine days following a 10-day streak of increases, decreasing two-tenths of a cent to $3.262. It is 1.7 cents less than one week ago, 16 cents more than one month ago, and 11.1 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.754 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
