A three- to five-acre wildfire broke out in an unincorporated area south of Banning Saturday.
The fire was reported at 10:58 a.m. near Old Idyllwild Road and Shirleon Drive, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Nine engine crews responded the blaze, which was burning at a moderate rate, fire officials said.
