A motorist was killed Saturday when a car crashed into a pole in the West Adams neighborhood of Los Angeles.
The crash occurred at 5:28 p.m. Saturday at Adams Boulevard and West View Street, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Tony Im told City News Service.
The motorist was pronounced dead at the scene, Im said.
The cause of the crash was under investigation, he said.
A news videographer at the scene said he spoke to someone who claimed to have witnessed the victim’s car get rammed by suspects in a blue SUV who then took contents from the vehicle and fled.
Im was not able to confirm that information.
